day treatment and intensive outpatient treatment
For those who have a mild to moderate addiction or for those who completed their inpatient residential treatment and still want or need some support, our day treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment offer the ideal solution.
Day Treatment / Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
The Partial Hospitalization Program, also known as Day Treatment, provides several hours of therapy and skill-building groups every day. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is for people who are experiencing the following:
- Destructive mental behavior due to medication imbalances
- Suicidal thoughts or attempts
- Inpatient hospital discharge resulting in suicidal thoughts or actions
- Debilitating behavioral health issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, etc.
- Drug addiction
- Substance use addiction
- Personal or emotional crises resulting from divorce, abuse, and other negative life circumstances
What to expect during day treatment?
- Patients in day treatment are tested for drugs and alcohol regularly during treatment.
- We set strict parameters for what items patients can bring into the treatment milieu. Patients are held to healthy boundaries and expectations in terms of relationships and behaviors while on campus.
- Treatment includes a variety of evidence-based services. Our therapists address problems associated with the complex conditions of each client and their family members.
- We provide support to patients and families and help develop a plan for time off-campus to maintain sobriety outside the facility.
- Patients attend day treatment and then return home in the evening to practice the skills they have learned at Inner Peace Reserve.
During Day Treatment, patients engage in groups based on:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Sensory Integration
- Recreational Therapy
- The individual, group, and family therapy
Patients build skills in areas such as:
- Relapse prevention

- Eating disorders
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Self-harm
- Chemical dependence that does not rely on detoxification
Benefits
For those who have a mild to moderate addiction or for those who completed their inpatient residential treatment (and still want or need some support) this is the ideal option. Our IOP treatment brings the following benefits:
- Affordable option than inpatient treatment
- Flexible schedule with outpatient treatment that will allow you to continue with your daily responsibilities
- Your family’s involvement and support are essential. The family will hold patients accountable on the path to sobriety, this is by ensuring that they attend their meetings and treatment groups at Inner Peace Reserve.
Individualized Program
Individuals seeking treatment from IOP usually have access to our individualized program as well. For clients who don’t feel comfortable talking in a group therapy session.
Who should not consider an individualized program as a primary treatment plan? Here are the following factors:
- Patients who have a history of relapse
- Miserable home environment
- Small to no support group
- Possibility to self-harm and/or harm others
- hose addicted to substances such as heroin or other opioids tend to do better when they start with an inpatient residential program.
What to expect during an individualized program?
- A licensed therapist will perform a full assessment and help you design an individualized program to fit your particular addiction needs.
- Individualized therapy sessions are scheduled on at least a weekly basis, if not more often, especially during early treatment.
Benefits
While patients participate in our Outpatient Programs, there are a few goals that we want to ensure our clients will meet. As well as some of the personal goals they may set up with our therapists when entering into this program:
- Interrupt the self-destructive cycle of alcoholism
- Interrupt the self-destructive cycle of drug dependency
- Assess, address, and begin to correct the harm to mental health
